Latest Info
Late each spring the PLIA and MDNR meet with the Implementation Coordinator to review the performance over the previous year against the requirements of the settlement agreement.  Typically, this meeting takes place at the Platte River State Fish Hatchery.

Since 2000, the PLIA, MDNR and the Implementation Coordinator have conducted bi-monthly phone conferences to monitor settlement agreement compliance in near real-time; the annual hatchery meeting is the formal mechanism for assessing and documenting performance on an annual basis.

The results discussed at the hatchery meeting are the basis for the Implementation Coordinator's annual report.  As the report for a given calendar year usually is published in final form late in the following year, review of the Implementation Coordinator's presentation at this meeting is a good way to see a summary of the draft final report several months before the report is available in final form.
