PLIA-proposed Platte Lakes Area Management Plan The PLIA-proposed Lake Township buffer zone ordinance amendment was approved and went into effect August 20, 2005. The next step is to get it adopted for the Benzonia Township portion of Platte Lake.

Notice: Following a public hearing on July 1, 2009, the Benzie County Planning Commission approved the creation of a Platte Lake Watershed Management Plan/Overlay District as proposed by the PLIA. Resident/PLIA membership support at the hearing was outstanding. Congratulations to all concerned! More info on this at next month's Annual Meeting.
